Jobs are scarce during the economic recession this year, but Singapore companies are still hiring the disabled people. I feel that this is a good opportunity for the disabled to look for jobs as many job opening will be publicised in the newspapers and this could help them with all the financial costs arising in this economic turndown. With many families having only an income from the earnings of a sole breadwinter, the financial burden on him or her will increase. This, in turn, will pile up on to the stress level. If he or she cannot take it anymore, it may results in them losing their job. So having more opening for the disabled is an excellent opportunity for them to get a stable job. They will also stand to gain training opportunities to improvise on their skills. With a more trained workforce, Singapore be able to cope with the ever-changing world and the new technology.
